Every mother deserves to be recognized for their strength, hard work and nurturing attitude. Clinica Santa Maria strives to make this possible for their mothers.

On May 22, Clinica Santa Maria will host its fourth annual baby shower from 6-8 p.m.

This is a special event put on by the staff at Clinica Santa Maria, who volunteer their time to make it possible.

The mothers will enjoy a night of pampering and delicious food with games and raffles for large items such as high chairs, car seats, bouncers and diaper bags full of goodies.

The baby shower will not only be fun, but also educational. There will be numerous educators at the event to answer any questions that the mothers may have. They will share information on safe sleep, car seats, breastfeeding, healthy living and much more.

Educators at the event include:

  • Safe Haven
  • Bright Beginnings
  • Baby Scholars
  • HDCH Safe Kids
  • Mind, Body, and Spirit
  • Journey for Life
  • Cynthia Jaimes for Lacation Education
  • YMCA Healthy Living
  • Maria Asenjo-Flores with WIC information
  • Tomorrow’s Child

For anyone interested in helping with the event, donations are still being accepted. Mothers will be given gift baskets with diapers, onesies, shampoos, lotions and other baby items. If interested in donating, these items are especially helpful and can be dropped off at Clinica Santa Maria, 730 Grandville Avenue SW. Monetary donations are also being accepted through the Saint Mary’s Foundation.

Clinica Santa Maria would like to recognize and thank the Saint Mary’s Foundation for funding this very special event that touches the lives of so many mothers.
