Five new local professionals are serving the Saint Mary’s Foundation Board, each with three-year terms that began on July 1, 2014. The Foundation is proud to welcome the following new trustees to its board:

Why did you want to become involved with Saint Mary’s Foundation? The up next program at Saint Mary’s presented a strong case for how important healthy competition is within the Healthcare Industry. Mercy Health Saint Mary’s seemed to be more mission and patient driven than by the dollar.
Fun Fact: His favorite place is Lake Michigan.

Why did you want to become involved with Saint Mary’s Foundation? Mercy Health Saint Mary’s has been an integral part of my life. Having grown up in a Catholic environment, I appreciate the value that brings to health care. I have been a patient at the Hospital and a supporter of those that have been patients. The atmosphere and culture of Mercy Health Saint Mary’s brings hope into the lives of those who are in need. I want to see the growth and development of the Hospital right along with all that is going on in Grand Rapids.

Why did you want to become involved with Saint Mary’s Foundation? I have admired the excellence in medical services combined with compassion provided, and appreciate the connection to my Catholic faith.

Why did you want to become involved with Saint Mary’s Foundation? After completing the up next program I felt compelled to develop a stronger relationship with the Saint Mary’s Foundation. Through every interaction with Mercy Health Saint Mary’s I have been beyond impressed – from working with the Foundation staff , to the kindness extended to patients, and the openness to holistic wellness.
Fun Fact: Her favorite place is her family cottage in Grand Haven.
