Thanks to all the colleagues who came out to celebrate our holiday buffet on Tuesday, December 17. Over the span of three shifts, managers, directors and vice presidents dished out holiday fare to colleagues, volunteers, and physicians. The event was hosted by Bill Manns, President of Mercy Health Saint Mary’s.
Fun facts about the amount of food served for the holiday buffet:
Nine hundred pounds of prime rib,
700 pounds of ham,
1,200 servings of lasagna and
400 pounds of green beans were served.
Fifteen hundred dinner rolls were served and more than 2,500 dessert servings were enjoyed by our colleagues.
Comment from one attendee: “I was really impressed they had gluten-free chocolate cake. It was marvelous!”
