Creating Awareness and Raising Funds for Mercy Health Alzheimer’s and Memory Disorders Program
“Smile When You Remember” is an inaugural festival to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s disease. Ten-20 percent of the event’s proceeds will benefit Mercy Health Alzheimer’s and Memory Disorders Program, a multidisciplinary program that has served patients for more than a decade. Taking place both inside and outside along Monroe Center in downtown Grand Rapids, from 10 a.m.-8 p.m., on Thursday, June 18, the event will honor Alzheimer’s Awareness Month in June.
Activities include a free tribute wall to honor loved ones with Alzheimer’s, family-friendly activities, such as face painting, coloring, ice cream sundae bar, and shopping, live music and food trucks.
For “Smile When You Remember,” Trovati Studio is teaming up with other MoDiv tenants, including:
- Apothecary off Main
- The Plate Boutique
- Bokay (Eastern Floral)
- The Drive basketball team
- Outside of the Lines
- Trovati Studio brand partner, Faceplant Dreams
In addition to the one-day event, for the entire month of June, Trovati Studio will be donating ten-20 percent of all in-store and online sales, and Clinic Apothecary off Main will also be donating ten percent of in-store sales to Mercy Health Alzheimer’s and Memory Disorders.
