VP Micki Benz Named as a 2014 Woman of Achievement & Courage

Congratulations to Micki Benz, regional vice president, Communications & Advocacy for Mercy Health,  as she has been named a 2014 Woman of Achievement & Courage by the Michigan Women’s Foundation.

Benz received this award during a special luncheon on Tuesday, April 22, where Governor Rick Snyder delivered the keynote address to a crowd of more than 650 people.

Noting not only her professional achievements, which include being a vice president for Mercy Health for the past 19 years and serving on multiple community boards, Benz also shared her thoughts with the audience on working in health care, the importance of mentorship, her pride in raising a respectful son, and gave the advice to respect everyone.
